Innovation, quality and long-term reliability
Our development of hup! represents the next chapter in that journey. Building on Ultraframe’s extensive expertise in roofing design, engineering and manufacture, hup! was created to deliver a more flexible, modern approach to roof replacement and construction. Initially developed to meet the evolving needs of the retail sector, hup! provides a practical solution for transforming existing spaces, improving performance and creating more functional, adaptable environments.
This evolution has given us valuable experience in working with the demands of commercial environments, where programme certainty, minimal disruption, regulatory compliance, durability and long-term performance are critical. These principles are equally relevant to public-sector estates, where investment decisions need to demonstrate value, resilience and confidence over the lifetime of a building.
Built around assurance
Quality and compliance are fundamental to everything we do. Our products are rigorously assessed through our own laboratory and testing facilities, alongside independent third-party organisations including Wintech and the British Board of Agrément (BBA).
The majority of Ultraframe conservatory roofing systems carry a 25-year BBA life-expectancy certificate, providing additional assurance around long-term performance and durability.
For public-sector clients, consultants, contractors and estates teams, this independent verification provides confidence that solutions have been designed and tested to meet the required standards – helping to support informed specification, procurement and compliance.
From roofing specialist to whole-building thinking
The evolution from Ultraframe to hup! reflects a broader shift in how we approach buildings. Rather than simply supplying a roof, we are focused on helping organisations unlock the potential of existing spaces, extend the useful life of buildings and deliver improvements with minimal disruption.
That experience, combined with decades of proven manufacturing and technical expertise, puts us in a strong position to support public-sector projects where quality, compliance, sustainability, cost-effectiveness and long-term value are essential.
We don't stand still. We continue to invest in products, testing and innovation so that the solutions we provide today are ready to meet the changing requirements of tomorrow's buildings.
